Q-Chart Challenge
During my internship, I focused on an integrated inquiry science unit on habitats and communities. At the beginning of the unit I realized that my students were not familiar with inquiry and did not understand how to ask 'good' questions. As a group we talked a lot about what makes a good question and as a visual aid I introduced them to a Q-Chart and explained the difference between the 4 quadrants (see photo 3). As an extension I designed this game that was played in table groups.
